Friends Overseas is an American/Scandinavian activity which was started in  1972.  Every year, many Americans, professional and university-age students (families, couples, and single persons) visit the Scandinavian countries. Many would like to have the opportunity to meet Scandinavians for perhaps no more than a cup of coffee in town during their stay, and also would be delighted to see their new friends again in the United States one day.  Our members will write to you several weeks before leaving on their trip.  If you  have an e-mail address that will make it easier to communicate but if not, the letter will be sent by mail.
